During fall break, we decided to travel to Sheridan, Indiana and visit Stuckey Farm Orchard and Cider Mill. I had not been to this farm since I attended a field trip there as a child back in elementary school, but even today it is the place to go for school field trips in autumn.
My husband's favorite dessert is apple pie, so I will definitely make him one. As a family, we absolutely love apple butter. I am going to can some later this week. I love to try to new recipes so I will be looking for a new one to try with the various apples (jonathan, winesap, golden delicious, red delicious, and mutsu) we picked.
